You can use all your shading techniques as long as you only use three colors. They can be gray white and black. You can choose any color as long as it fills the page. For instance white is a color that fills the rest of the page "the color of paper" If you want to use all three of your choices you must fill in all the white on the page. Such as using gray for graphite black for charcoal and any color you choose.

The fine line is that you must either use Charcoal or graphite as one of your colors. It can be any thickness and any value you want as long as you fallow the directions above.
